I long for your salvation, O LORD,
and your law is my delight.
Let me live that I may praise you,
and may your laws sustain me.
I have strayed like a lost sheep.
Seek your servant,
for I have not forgotten your commands.
Props to my brother, Chris, for sharing this with me. The last verse is especially poignant for me. The past week or so has been a challenge for me to seek the Lord. It’s just been really difficult to discipline myself to read the word and pray. I feel like I’ve strayed from Him to a degree. I love how it says, “Seek your servant for I have not forgotten your commands.” That really is my prayer right now. I need for God to seek me out and restore me according to His love.
