Galatians 2:20

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Here’s why this is the verse of the day for me: sometimes, it’s easy to forget what Christ has done for us. The reality is that He has given us life through his own life. As he died and raise from the dead, he has allowed us to experience the same resurrection. Therefore, as His Spirit dwells in us we are raised to life. This is glorious.

It also demands of us something. If we only are able to truly live by his gracious gift, then we ought to give our lives to God as a sacrifice of thankfulness. Romans 12:1 urges us to present our bodies as living sacrifices that are holy and acceptable to God. THIS, it says, is only our reasonable (read: logical) act of worship.

That’s what’s on my mind today.. I hope it’s a blessing.
